PROJECT: CRHS Women & Children's Center
CLIENT: Shadowlight Pictures

Producer/Directors Pamela Peacock and Richard Sampson for Shadowlight Pictures called in Diesel to handle editorial on three spots for the Columbus (GA) Regional Hospital Systems. We edited for a week in Atlanta at McIntosh Productions in the industrial section of the ATL. After going through about an hour and a half of on-cameras from the very attractive staff of Columbus Regional we were able to whittle down about 20 minutes of usable script reads that would make the cut for our 3 spots. The next four days we cut and polished the three spots with Dean & Debra from the agency, The Adams Group. And Miriam from the client, CRHS. The on-cameras were shot with the RED camera, the crispness of the RED was evident in how good the staff at CRHS came across on-camera. We all worked very well together to make sure we were all satisfied with the creative & that the client was happy that their message was being delivered effectively.

PROJECT: Glenn Dorsey Draft Promo
CLIENT: NFL.com

Another spot in our 'Believe' series that we created for NFL.com's coverage of the NFL draft. We only had about 10 minutes of footage with Glenn but it was enough to create a cool 30 second spot featuring this powerhouse defensive lineman now playing for the KC Chiefs.

DIRECTOR: Emile Hirsch

Emile Hirsch's directorial debut, this "silent movie" set to Daft Punk's Alive has received over 165,000 hits on Youtube. Starring Ace Norton & Frankie LeVangie, this Youtube sensation has been a lightning rod of controversy with comments ranging from "that skinny guy is f**ken hilarious" to "I'm actually gay haha...but whatever." Shot & edited by our close friend, Chuck Church. Church & Emile crushed some late night edits at the Diesel to knock out this video in just two nights.

PROJECT: Jimmy Connors Champion Series Intro
CLIENT: Cedar Street Films and InsideOut Entertainment

Here's a little diddy we did for the sickest competitor in the history of pro tennis, Jimmy Connors. I love looking at these old US Open highlights of Jimmy going nuts and lighting up the New York faithful. The White Stripes add a nice soundtrack for the sure-fire intensity that Jimmy brought to the court. This video marks the return of Connors to the Champions Series where he will compete against his old rival Johnny Mac & some of the young guns he faced later in his career like Jim Courier and Andre Agassi. We interviewed Jimmy at his house for the Vitas Doc and he was such a gracious host along with his son Brett, who was also very close to VG. Jimmy and Brett rapped for over 2 hours about the legend of Vitas Gerulaitis. We produced these promos for Cedar Street Films and InsideOut Entertainment. Check out the legends of tennis this fall as the Champions Series comes to a major city near you.

PROJECT: Darren McFadden Promo
CLIENT: NFL.com

An NFL crew headed out to Fayetteville to film Darren McFadden as he prepared for the NFL Draft. When I was called in to cut the Open for NFL Net's draft coverage, I thought this vision was so cool that I could cut some sick promos with it. I sold the idea to Tom Brady, who heads up NFL.com (not the Hall of Fame Pats qb) and he loved it. So we had about 20 minutes of workout footage with DMC and I put together this :30 spot. The premise was to be as raw and unfiltered as possible, so we didnt even use music, it's just a bed of SFX. DMC is now one of my favorite running backs in the NFL, killing it for the Oakland Raiders.
